Gadi Stieber
Using technology and political discourse to strive for a better, more inclusive future.
Hi! I’m Gadi!
I’m a senior at Evanston Township High School in Evanston, Illinois. In school, I am a volunteer technician at my school’s ChromeZone computer repair center. In addition, I am President in my school’s Jewish and Israeli Culture Clubs as well as a peer tutor in both Honors and AP Chemistry and Physics.
Outside of school, I am a Hartman Teen Fellow, an avid reader, documentary and short-film maker, and home repair enthusiast. In addition, I work at Spertus Institute as an academic intern.
In the past, I have been a recruit at the FBI Teen Academy, traveled cross-country to work on political dialogue and debate on Etgar 36, as well as interned at the Amaral Computational Research Lab at Northwestern
Filmmaking
From documentaries to shorts that have found their way into festivals and even earned awards, filmmaking has been my way of exploring stories worth telling—and sharing them with others.
Etgar 36
Etgar 36 taught me that true understanding comes from listening—whether to history, to stories, or to political conversations across divides that continue to shape our country.
Volunteering
Through YTC and Chromezone, I worked to expand access to technology—whether by refurbishing computers for underserved communities or repairing devices that keep students connected to learning.
